The Chronicles of Rothwell Temperance band project shares the untold tales of one of the world’s greatest brass bands. The performances combined immersive audio documentary storytelling alongside the evocative live sound of brass, blended with sounds and images created by a unique approach to turntable performance. This original piece of work shines a light on the importance brass band music plays in the cultural story of Leeds and celebrates the talent and dedication of an often undervalued community of artists based in the South of the city.
